University Chorus

The UA University Chorus is the university’s large-ensemble SATB choir consisting of undergraduate and graduate students pursuing music and non-music majors. This ensemble performs one to two concerts each semester in the Moody Concert Hall and community performances both on- and off-campus. University Chorus frequently combines with University Singers to perform choral-orchestral masterworks. In addition to performing works from the choral canon, this ensemble has commissioned and premiered multiple works by living composers. This choir focuses on development of vocal technique, ensemble listening skills, musical interpretation, and expressive communication within a large-ensemble setting.

This choir is not auditioned. All singers are encouraged to register! Learn more about the voicing process.

All concerts are open to the public, free of charge and begin at 7:30 PM (unless otherwise announced). Concerts are available to view online on the UA School of Music YouTube channel.
