Morgan Luttig conducting choral group on stage

The UA Treble Chorus is a non-auditioned ensemble of undergraduate and graduate singers from more than 35 academic disciplines across campus. Our non-auditioned approach is not seen as a limitation but instead as a foundational strength that brings together perspectives and experiences. The varied backgrounds of the UA Treble Chorus members enhance our interpretations of repertoire, which spans from historical works to contemporary commissions. Our commitment to meaningful connection drives our approach to community-building as we believe musical excellence comes from creating spaces where every singer can discover their full musical and personal potential as a unit.

The UA Treble Chorus was featured as a performing choir for the 2025 National Collegiate Choral Organization biennial conference in Fullerton, California.

This choir is not auditioned. All singers are encouraged to register! Learn more about the hearing process.

The mission of the UA Treble Chorus is to unite treble singers through choral music. We believe in the power of challenging perceptions, committing to varied thinking, and empowering musical excellence through joy and genuine connection.

Our rehearsals embody our director’s philosophy to “make serious music unseriously.” The environment of rehearsals combines rigorous musical standards with joy and learning through play. The members of the UA Treble Chorus engage in dialogue with peers inside and outside of rehearsals, build personal connections to repertoire, and make musical decisions. We empower one another throughout the rehearsal process, leaning into our strengths while supporting one another to enhance weaknesses. The UA Treble Chorus has nearly tripled in size in three years, largely due to the immense impact our singers have on one another.
